The season so far.

Europe is having an exceptionally hot summer in 2026. France recorded its hottest day on record on 24th June (national average 30.0°C), with Barcelona in Spain hitting 40.5°C on 8th July. The World Meteorological Organization notes Europe is the world's fastest-warming continent. The EU's Joint Research Centre is flagging rising crop heat and water stress across Central & Western France, South-Western Germany, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. The EU's crop monitoring service (JRC MARS) already puts potato yields below last year in Poland (−7%), the Netherlands (−6%) and Belgium (−5%). Berry and greenhouse growers are seeing flowering and fruit-set hit hardest.

Why it matters biologically.

Cold, Drought and Heat, all hurt the plant the same way. They damage the crop from the inside. Under stress, the crop builds up damaging molecules, and this oxidative stress is what scorches leaves, shuts down photosynthesis and drops flowers. SuperFifty® Prime mitigates this. Sprayed before the stress hits, this tailor-made biostimulant switches on the plant's own defences, so the crop is already primed and protected when the heat stress arrives.

The science

• Proven protection from oxidative stress. Working with the Max Planck Institute, the University of Potsdam and CPSBB Bulgaria, BioAtlantis showed that plants primed with SuperFifty came through severe oxidative stress almost untouched. No scorched lesions, no peroxide build-up, no collapse of photosynthesis, whereas unprimed plants were badly damaged. The same protection held across a range of fruit and tuber crops.
