The commercial field trial undertaken in Carmona, near Seville in southwest Spain, demonstrated the stress alleviation capacity of SFP on olive trees (Arbosana variety) grown under high temperature with water deficit conditions with no rainfall since May and low water available for irrigation.

The product was applied at flower bud stage and after fruit-set at the level of 2 Litres of SFP diluted in 1,000 litres of water per hectare.

Samples of 100 olives from 20 trees were taken from both the treated and untreated plants.

The photographic evidence shows that the quality and volume of the treated fruit was significantly better than the untreated.
