BioAtlantis' involvement in the €4.9M ‘BOOSTER’ project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe framework programme, has gained great coverage in the media.

Over the last year, BioAtlantis has gained considerable media attention as it plays a major role in the four-year ‘BOOSTER’ project, which has secured funding of up to €4.9 million through the EU's Horizon Europe framework programme. The project is focused on improving drought tolerance in maize and teff, by developing drought-tolerant genotypes and novel ‘biostimulant’ technologies. In BOOSTER, BioAtlantis will focus on developing technologies to improve drought tolerance in maize and teff cereal crops, a stress increasingly associated with climate change. This includes the development of ‘Molecular Priming’ technologies, using natural compounds sustainably derived from renewable marine and terrestrial sources, such as seaweed.
