BioAtlantis is a biotechnology company based in Tralee, Co Kerry, specialising in the manufacture of crop Biostimulants. It’s expanding operations and requires ambitious, high-quality technicians for demanding and challenging roles. The job entails working in a highly automated process with significant levels of responsibility. These are permanent positions that include shift work. Responsibilities:
Operates production equipment and monitors process conditions, key performance metrics, equipment and control systems in order to produce products to desired rates and conditions.
Maintains reports of operations and updating daily records.
Gain in-depth knowledge of the various production process involved in extraction, centrifugation, purification, and concentration.
Follows company policies, principles, procedures, standards, and practices to ensure safe and reliable operation. The employee will be trained in the GMP requirements applicable to their responsibilities. GMP principles and practices will be applied in all work assignments
Train other employees on various steps when necessary.
Read, record, and interpret data from instruments and adjust process parameters as required to ensure efficient and safe operations
Understand the key process variables which impact product quality/consistency and understand how to control and troubleshoot them
Maintains good housekeeping and work areas to GMP+ and HACCP standards and assists in general clean-up.
Continuous inspections of key process points and taking necessary corrective actions where issues are identified.
Ensure H&S compliance at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum – Leaving Cert qualification.
Previous process industry experience in a GMP environment.
Forklift experience is an advantage.
Computer literacy is a distinct advantage.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
