BioAtlantis Ltd, a well established and successful biotech company based in Tralee are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to drive efficiency and be a key team player in further growing the business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the accountant will be directly responsible for the day to day finance activities of a growing, fast paced medium sized business.
The ideal professional will a strong accountant with 2-3 years’ experience working in industry, who is ambitious and hard-working and wants to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day management accounts function.
Full responsibility across the AR, AP, Stock and Payroll function
Submission of VIES INTRASTAT VAT returns.
Liaise with auditors and outside agencies.
Any ad-hoc duties

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified professional with at least 1 years post qualified experience.
A proactive and professional attitude possessing strong attention to detail and have the ability to
liaise with staff members at all levels
Excellent PC Skills and experience using accounts software / Excel and MS Office
Knowledge of Herbst software package an advantage but not a necessity
Be highly organised including the ability to prioritise several tasks and to work to deadlines.
Have an ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
Be a self -driven, motivated and highly organised individual who has the ability to prioritise several tasks.
